Objects for General Use

A collection of standardized objects presented as tools for general use. The project examines how systems of measurement, instruction, and handling shape our relationship to everyday objects.
Working with physical objects make me more aware of how design is actually used, giving me first hand knowledge of how people handle, interpret, and interact with something over time.
Though presented as “sculptural” objects, the work is approached as a system, with attention to how rules, language, and structure can extend across different forms.
